Background

South Bend is an acre plot of land on Station Road, Kings Langley. Since around 2005 it has been used for both residential and commercial purposes.

Until recently, the site hosted dozens of vehicles, two mobile homes, containers, a caravan, an outbuilding and a derelict house. Today, only the outbuilding and burnt-out house remain.

In October 2023, the site was auctioned under the Proceeds of Crime Act. A local business, ar18, bought the site, hoping to redevelop it into their new premises.
